Taller Gratuito: Introducción práctica y aplicaciones de RFSoC

This Hands-on introduction describes de new Xilinx family of RFSoC devices. The Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoCs integrates multi-gigasample RF (Radio Frequency) data converters and Soft-Decision Forward Error Correction (SD-FEC) into an SoC architecture. The seminar will describe the new Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC family, Identify typical applications for the data converters. Describes the architecture and functionality of the high-performance integrated ADC and DAC, as well the architecture and functionality of the SD-FEC hard IP.

The workshop will be in Spanish. The activity is free, but requires registration. Limited places. The organization will provide computers with the installation of the necessary tools to carry out the workshop. We will confirm places one week in advance.

Esta introducción práctica describe la nueva familia Xilinx de dispositivos RFSoC. Zynq UltraScale + RFSoC integra conversores de RF (Radio Frecuencia) de múltiple gigasmuestras y corrección de errores (SD-FEC: Soft-Decision Forward Error Correction) en una arquitectura SoC (Sistema en un Chip). El seminario describirá la nueva familia Zynq UltraScale + RFSoC, identificará aplicaciones típicas para los convertidores de datos. Describe la arquitectura y la funcionalidad del ADC y DAC de alto rendimiento integrados en el dispositivo, así como la arquitectura y la funcionalidad de la core-IP SD-FEC.
El workshop será en castellano y gratuito, pero requiere registro. El aforo es limitado y se respeta el orden de registro. La organización proveerá ordenadores con la instalación de las herramientas necesarias para realizar el taller. Confirmaremos las plazas con una semana de anticipación.

Content / Contenido:

  • Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC Overview – Overview of the Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC architecture, including brief introductions to RF, data converter solutions, SD-FEC solutions, driver support, and tool support.
  • RF-ADC – Covers the basics of ADCs. Reviews ADC architecture, functionality, interfaces, configuration, and driver support.
  • RF-DAC – Covers the basics of DACs. Reviews DAC architecture, functionality, interfaces, configuration, and driver support.
  • Data Converter Design – Describes common features, the design flow, and utilizing the example design by simulation and implementation.
  • Soft-Decision FEC – Covers the basics of forward error correction. Reviews SD-FEC architecture, functionality, interfaces, configuration, and driver support.
